More binky clips!

I made a few more clips. My sister-in-law actually asked if I could embroider a name on them. She wanted a few with a name for the church nursery. I thought it was a great idea and it worked out great. But I forgot to take a picture! I will try to get a picture tomorrow when I go back over to see them.

I can embroider a name on the following clips.

My Etsy Shop is open for business!

I finally uploaded some items to Etsy. My shop is listed to the right.

I am very excited, although I have been pretty busy with special orders already. I decided to branch out and try the internet sales thing!

If you are interested in anything in my blog, or anything from Etsy, please let me know. I get most of my fabric from Joann's. So if you find something you like, but want a different fabric, just let me know. I will be happy to work with you! If you have any questions just email me at lovetomakeitcute@gmail.com.

Binky Clips and a Bib Clip

Here is a bib clip. You can use this to clip a paper towel or dish towel and use it has a bib. Or you can use it to clip a blanket around you while you are breastfeeding.

I used 2 suspender clips, 12 inched of ribbon, 2 buttons and around 10 inches of thing ribbon. I sewed the suspender clips to the wide ribbon making sure the decrative side is facing up. I then sewed down the thing ribbon perpendicular to the wide ribbon. Burning the edges so they don't fray. Thread the ribbon through the button holes and tie.

Binky Clips: I used the same process as above on the one end. The other end I sewed a nice edge, then added a snap.

Making things for etsy!

I finally have some extra time to make things to sell! Here are a few things I am working on. I will embroider names on the burp cloths.

I will add ribbon and a name to this blanket.

For some reason it keeps turning this picture, but here are 2 burp cloths and I made a matching diaper and wipes case.

Another matching set, a diaper/wipes case and 3 burp cloths.

Hopefully I can get this stuff up on etsy soon and get it sold!

New order!

I had a lot of fun making these burp cloths. I really like when I'm given some direction, but then I am given the freedom to create something unique. This person selected 5-6 fabrics online that she liked and then I went off to see which ones I could find. I also selected fabrics I felt would work best.

Some to take to the hunting club and neutral enough for Emma and any future children.

Some without names and one with her name.

Here are some girly ones for Emma.

I decided to make something for myself!

I decided it was about time I made something for myself. I bought fabric months ago to make some coasters. I cut out eight 5"x5" squares, and four 5"x5" squares of interfacing. I ironed the interfacing to the back of four of the fabric squares, put right sides together and top-stitched 1/4 inch around each square. Leave a 2 inch space on one of the sides to turn the fabric right side out. Then iron flat and top-stitch around each square. And you are finished! It took maybe 30 minutes to make four coasters!
