Another Diaper and Wipes Case!

This is apart of an order.


This is the case with nothing in it.

And this is the case rolled up with the diaper and wipes inside.

Ribbon burp cloth and bib set!

To make this set, I took 3/4 inch ribbon and added rick rack to the top of it. I measured out about how much I would need for all 4 items and added a couple of inches. I sewed the rick rack to the top of it.

After embroidering the names, I measured the the bib and cut a piece of ribbon about 1/2 inch larger than the width of where I wanted it. I folded the end under and placed it on the edge and began to sew it on. Making sure it was straight as I went along. When I got to the other end, I folded it under and continued until I got to the end. I then top stitched along the other edge of the ribbon, sewing it down. I then top stitched the left and right sides down.

I repeated this process with the burp cloths as well. I lined the ribbon up along the bottom edge of the burp cloth and folded each end under, sewing all the way around the ribbon.

I have many more projects coming! I'm so glad school is almost out, I'll have the entire summer to sew!

Another special order! I made a blanket for baby Kallyn. I think it turned out great!

Specialty Orders!

So I am slowly beginning to sew things for money! Here is one of my first projects. I like having some free play with it. I tried a few new things, some worked, some didn't. I guess if I'm going to put stuff up on etsy, I should practice a little more!

Playing around trying to do Monogram. It turned out okay, but I will probably try to do it differently next time.

Okay, this did not go so well! It is my first attempt at applique and I just went for it. I definitely need more practice before I can produce quality work!

Playing around a bit!

I'm making some personalized burp cloths for someone. I've been looking on etsy for some ideas. So far I have been these two, but have some really creative ideas. More pictures to come!

Babies, Babies Everywhere!

I made a little something for a friend. I hope she likes it!
The picture isn't that great, but I'm happy with the way they turned out!

Another gift!

I whipped up 2 binky clips very quickly for Baby Kelsey, my niece due to arrive sometime in June. I sort of followed this tutorial but not sure I did them the same way.

They turned out great! I wish I could find more of these buttons.
